It's a bit silly, no? I mean, I have been on his mailing list for a while and have received no information about the password or even the tour. Yet, I am sure scalpers everywhere already have it. Curious, curious.....

You mean advanced ticked booking through his site? You should register first...then they'll send you your number...at least that's how I got the tickets for the London show....

i want the Chicago tickets, which go on sale in an hour, but my buddy just got tickets for the NY show, and there was no password needed. this is a bit silly to call it a presale, since anyone can get them.

Sorry for the false alarm folks! All that password talk was nonsense. Turns out, as people have already noted, no password was needed. Which is kind of (un)funny. Ticketmaster said 'Presale Password Info Available at davidgilmour.com', yet his site didn't announce the US tour until 30 minutes before the show went on sale. Then, when the tickets went on sale it looked like ANYONE could get them. It said fan club presale, but since it isn't password protected any shmoe could get a ticket.

I don't get it. Weirdness

Add to that the fact that New York City transit is on strike and I was stuck in Queens and had to 'telecommute', I was one miserable bastard. Luckily I got a ticket.
