maybe I'm only one of a few, but I don't think that Giy Pratt was so bad after all. He definitely improved on the Division Bell Tour (compared to the previous one)
I don't think he had any intention to replace Roger, he just wanted to do a good job, Which I think - he did.

cheers

Its interesting that the main criticism of Guy Pratt seems to be his satge prescence, primarily the jumping around, and all from people that like The Who. Hows that work then?

I'd like somebody like Tony Levin or Pino Palladino to play bass for David. Guy Pratt is not bad, but his style is not very distinctive.

Look, lets just decide this here and now.

Not only is Guy Pratt a total bell-end, but anyone who rates him as anything above a maggot is also a total bell-end.

There...definitive and final I think!

Pino Palladino? Is that the bassplayer on the DVD "Live At Odeon"?

back to the original topic, is any info out about the band? Is it electric or like his 2002 shows? Since it is theaters it seems like it may be mostly unplugged.

Let's Be Fair...

Post by dearboy »

I'm willing to give Guy Pratt another chance. I mean, I have to respect someone who publicly admits that he regrets the way he has played certain songs in the past. (ABITW pt2 - he said he regrets the funky bass pops. Me too.)

But as for Scott (The Mullet) Paige, I hope I'll never again have to endure his ridiculous showboating or yelling into his sax. Gawd - he makes the 80's look like such a stupid decade.) Okay, maybe it was...but even back then, his hair looked idiotic - imho.
