David Gilmour Glastonbury 2013?

Who thinks it would be nice if David Gilmour was to perform at the Glastonbury 2013 festival?

Would be nice but he and Rick Wright wanted to do it before and they said no, they go with awful hip hop acts like Jay Z instead so if I was Dave and they asked me now, I'd be telling them to stick it up their collective arse

I don't want him to play Glastonbury because I'm not going, and I'd be jealous of people who are.

No, seriously, my reasons are more that considering how commercial the festival is, and its obvious leanings towards more current music, there's pretty much no way he'd be headlining. And in my mind, he's David Gilmour and he shouldn't have to play second to anyone.

Of course, if he were to do another tour, that would be a whole different thing. Although I do respect his wishes to want a quiet retirement if that is indeed what he has done.

Trouble is if he did play he might outshine the Stones as they are rumoured to be doing it as well
