Roger Waters is set to perform on 12.12.12 at Madison Square Gardens in New York to raise money for the hurricane Sandy relief fund. The show will benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund.

That sucked. Can Waters possibly rub that song any further into the ground?
There's something completely suspicious about playing the same song over and over again and acting as if you're not bored out of your skull. Talk about living in the past. Amused to death for sure.

I like how he misses the opening lines on the first verses but still you can hear his own backing vocals on the background... and then his actual live voice comes in

I guess that pretty much explains why both the "lip synching" and "live singing" camps were right.

And Eddie Vedder well, I respect the man, but it's hard to me to listen to his voice and not having images of the Jeremy video coming to my mind, so listening to this version of Confortably Numb felt kinda weird.

By the way I wonder if Waters came with the idea of inviting Vedder to sing with him only after hearing the rumours of Macca planning to play with Nirvana... seems odd that the two biggest classic rock legends from the 60/70s were each playing in some form with one of the two biggest grunge bands of the 90s...
