As I posted yesterday on another forum:
I was thursday in Arnhem and it was indeed a very 'intimate' Wall show and because of that a bit weird for me in the beginning. 5.400 showed up in a 35.000 seater stadium!
Therefore, the Wall was placed halfway the stadium.
During Brick 2 camera shots were shown on the wall which were clearly not from the show. You saw people singing and waving and that was at that point not happening at all in Arnhem. Also there were far less people than shown on the wall!
All in all; during the first half the crowd was very 'sedate' (is that the word?), the second half was great with a lot more interaction between the band (Roger!) and the crowd. I loved it and had tears in my eyes during the 'side three' songs and I was really into the Wall during the rest of the show. The show still moved me like it did in june 1981 in Earls Court and in 2011 in Arnhem and Antwerp.
The band played flawless and there were some minor changes in the projections which were new to me. (Mother)
When I walked to my car I couldn't help thinking it was perhaps a perfect dress rehearsal for the 'real thing'. Also came to my mind; isn't this one Wall tour too many?
Here's a short video I made during In The Flesh:

Hi FransT,
What you have said is interesting regarding the Arnhem concert. I enjoyed the videos too!
I am intending to add another show to the two I already have tickets for and did consider this one, and although I am still dithering, (just waiting for them all to sell out), I kind of wish I had gone to this one as it does seem very intimate and a different atmosphere.
Only field tickets have been available for Arnhem over the past few months, so they either made the decision to move it up to half a stadium a long time ago or this was always intended to be some kind of dress rehearsal for the tour.
As for the crowd projections on the extra ends of the wall. Ron Toon did post up a while back that this had happened in the USA. I guess having live cameras is just another load of equipment, wires and people to move around from place to place so they decided on recordings. I did wonder if they would still do this for the European leg of the tour and the answer seems to be yes.

It was indeed a very intimate show.
Looking back 48 hours after the show; I'm glad I went. Especially after the break I was really into it and after all these years still very emotional. The Wall live show moves me just like it did in June 1981 in London. And that was a great feeling.
Being in a football stadium with a 'Radio Kaos Tour crowd' made it even more special. That gave it an intimate feel which I am very happy with. As if we were special to be there. ('One of the few')
So: The big advantage was that the 'real' hardcore fans showed up. So no drunk and shouting assholes everywhere. I liked that very much too.
