This is worthy of its own thread - my guess would be the vinyl re-issues (ker-ching!)

Maybe they have Waters, Gilmour and Mason scheduled to do a press conference to help publicise ?

You would hope that Pink Floyd (remaining members) would have the self-awareness not to do a press conference and not perform. They're musicians, lol.

Roger Daltrey confirms megafestival with the Who, the Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney

Tthe organisers of the Coachella festival in California announced plans to put on a three-day mega-festival with just two acts per night: Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney on the first, the Rolling Stones and Neil Young on the second, and the Who and Roger Waters on the third.

The show is believed to be taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California – the Coachella site – from 7-9 October.

The ticket website shows the same six acts but on different nights to that shown above -

Friday = The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan
Saturday = Paul McCartney and Neil Young
Sunday = Roger Waters and The Who

Hi, I'm new here. Glad to have found this site. I managed tickets for the Desert Trip concert this fall. I've seen Roger perform the Wall on 3 occasions and was wondering if anyone has any idea what the set list will look like in October? I believe I heard him say he was finished with the Wall, and I think it's unlikely they will bring in and set up the Wall stadium production for an even like this, given the logistics of stage sharing etc.

So... what's he going to play? RW solo material with a smattering of PF greatest hits?

Apparently all three dates are now sold out so they've added a 'duplicate' second weekend and that's also sold out -

Awesome. Apparently the set is designed specifically for Coachella, and it will feature the biggest quad system Waters has ever built.
