Come on people, it's not fair to judge an album on those very short clips, I like them, and audio 2 sounds good with Gilmour's guitar. The TV ad is a bit short and sweet though, they could have made more of that, and has anyone seen it on TV in the UK yet? which channel?
meddle is very boring, the unique energy songs are one of these days and some parts of echoes, but the live versions of Gdansk and Pompeii are much better

I don't like it (the 2nd clip) but I won't damn the whole song or album based on this since it's out of context but still, it doesn't sound warm - as a 30 second clip, it's fabulously emotionless.
What I don't get though is the choice of this clip as a preview.

I agree. It's difficult to judge these without the context of the full song.
I am really enjoying the sound bites, however frustratingly short they are, and hope they release more. Everyone will probably reach a similar conclusion that the only way to really judge these pieces is to hear them in their entirety and buy the album (pop...there's goes another champagne cork at record company HQ)

Pink Floyd have been receiving that kind of criticism for as long as they have been around. Each and every one of their albums received harsh criticism from the press at the time of their release. This is nothing new.
