Wouldn't mind hearing that either. Glenn is pretty much the only one who can fill the gap left behind by Dio without coming off as an imitator.
Right now, I can definitely settle with Black Country Communion, though. Best stuff Glenn has done since "Burn" by Deep Purple.
what's the last album you bought?

Lykke Li - Wounded Rhymes, a nice poppy album with a 60's girlband feel.
Iain Matthews - Best of 3CD, just the song woodstock is already worth buying the album.
Jim Sullivan - UFO, an American folk-rocker who produced 2 albums in 1969 and disappeared of the earth in 1975.

Magma - Köhntarkösz
Tangerine Dream - Encore
Both on vinyl, as usual. The former was an incredible find for me!

It's been one of their live staples since they first began playing. They do a killer version of it, don't you think?ddebil wrote:...which BCC played, during their set at the High Voltage festival last weekend.olzen wrote: Best stuff Glenn has done since "Burn" by Deep Purple.
They also used to play "No Quarter" by Led Zeppelin, but that slot in the set has been taken by their own material now. Thankfully, they're still doing "The Ballad of John Henry". Did they play that one on High Voltage? It was the highlight of their concert in Copenhagen for sure!

The Action - Rolled Gold
Produced by George Martin 1968
Brain is my favorite track. The vocalist sounds great on this one. I first heard it in the movie Observe And Report. Here it is....

I just love Encore, it's one of my favourite TD albums. I have it on both vinyl and CD. I know in parts it quotes liberally from the Stuntman album, but I think those parts are put to better use on Encore than they were on Stuntman. And Desert Dream is just brilliant and beautiful.olzen wrote:Tangerine Dream - Encore
