"Is there supposed to be anyone there, sir, besides your wife?"

.....

"See, he keeps hanging up...."

I like the idea of being practical. Why not invite him for a brew or two. Try to be sensible, I mean, he probably gets all sorts of shit from random fools in the audience (especially crap about Floyd and Gilmour), so why not try to be personable with the man? Give him a break, after all, as Mooner said, he has to get up in the morning just like anyone else here (except for Gerald Ford....). I would be embarrassed to either ask or answer some questions about seating, any member of Pink Floyd, or any stupid demands to play songs. In case you hadn't noticed, these shows are precisely choreographed, so he can't just get up there and "jam" (he even said he dislikes jamming, and rarely does it...).

Come on, be real, folks, and humor the poor guy. At least give him the respect that he is owed by not asking stupid questions. (I think that a Q&A session with MR. Waters would be interesting, though. Maybe he should get a talk show. No wait- he has way too much self-respect to shill on TV. )

"Hey, you should play Learning To Fly. It's my favorite song of yours."

"You should dance more."

"I AM THE GHOST OF RONALD RAEGAN. I HAVE COME TO HAUNT YOU."

"If I gave you an accordion, would you play it?"

The Gunner's Dream wrote:On the Radio Kaos tour in 1987 Roger set aside a few points throughout the show where he would take phone calls from members of the audience. They would ask him questions and he would answer them as best he could.

Let's just say that Roger did this again: what would you say?

Personally, I would ask him how he felt about performing material from The Final Cut live.
Oh ' i know what i'd say allright - Roger ' have you read my latest post yet ? It's all there in blue and white.

'Roger... You suck!'

I'd say it just for the banter

But seriously, i'd ask him what his kids think of his music or something. I mean i know one of them tours with him, but you know, maybe he just can't get any other work

Also i could extend on that by asking what he thinks of Harry's beard

It's probably there to hide the fact that Harry looks JUST like his dad. The VoIO of the Lisbon show in '02 is almost hard to watch alongside early Floyd VoIOs because it seems France/KQED/St. Tropez/Pompeii-era Rog has jumped forward in time, grown his hair, and played the keys for present-day Rog.

It's almost as creepy as seeing 1975 Dick Parry on the 8mm VoIO.
