Got mine too :!: :D Number 689

PHENOMENAL PIECE OF HISTORY, IT'S REALLY THAT GOOD 8)

The only one thing I missed it's the hidden lyrics at the end of Waiting For The Worms. I still don't know what the hell Roger is saying

Otherwise, such an exceptional book, ABSOLUTELY a must have item

Does the book cover unreleased songs recorded during the sessions? Also, does it have any new info about any alternate versions of Comfortably Numb?

I'll have to double check, but as I recall, the book supports the notion that there are only three versions of Comfortably Numb:

1. The demo that Gilmour recorded in '77 during the end of his solo album sessions

2. The version that appears on the ROIO sometimes called "Under Construction," when the working title was still The Doctor and had lyrics such as: "Listen, I am a physician and I can handle your condition like a magician if you show me where it hurts."

3. The version as it appears on the final album.

Ah, so that's where The Doctor (as in the podcast guy) got that from. I wondered where that line came from. [It's at the start of his podcasts in the introduct)...

And now, I leave

Postage Rates

Post by FitchV »

Hi all,

I wanted to let everyone know that the U.S. Post Office is raising rates on May 14th. For anyone outside the U.S. who is thinking about ordering the Comfortably Numb book, you would be wise to order it before then. Surface Mail is being discontinued, and Airmail rates are going up.
