Yup, Blue Velvet. Good film, so i would recommend it if you haven't seen it.

Myself, i'm a scots ale man (and was definitly one last night) particularly dark ales. In Aberdeen we got a few decent pubs that always have a fine and ever changing selection of scots ales

Ah, well you guys have some grand old stuff. Never been, but in terms of drink (as this thread is based on) i do love a good pint of Guiness on occassions

I don't like it myself but I did have a very nice Guinness stew in the Guinness storehouse last year.

I love Guinness .... when you get a proper , well pulled pint - heaven. When you get a sloppy, badly pulled pint - hell. I'll grant you it's absoluetly one of the worst drinks "coming back up" .. it lingers at the back of your nose and throat for days !!!! (Ive gone too far haven't I ?) ....
