Favorite is John, then George :)

Is the Beatles' - What a Shame Mary Jane really recorded with Syd Barrett? I have read that it has, and read that it hasn't. Anyone have a confirmation?

Yeah, famous and untrue rumor.

Revolver is my favorite album, but "the white" album is very close, and I think it is a very fun album. Experimental.

Kiloh Smith from Laughing Madcaps wrote:For those of you who still cling to the notion that Syd was somehow involved
in the recording of What A Shame Mary Jane, I have a Beatles boot called
Kinfans Demos. This is acoustic White Album stuff. The story goes that this
was recorded at George's home after they all returned from India and wrote a
bunch of songs.

Anyway, the CD's is full length and ALL White Album era stuff. They don't do
a single song from 1967 or prior. It's all them working out the new tracks
on acoustic. Anyway, they do What A Shame Mary Jane. So, here's another
piece of evidence for you unbelievers and it's pretty direct.
