There are some decent size gaps in the schedule. I wonder if that means Jon Carin will be busy with David during those periods...

What source do you have for this? I couldn't find anything. I would think that the Gilmour blog would have mentioned it.

Is there an answer there somewhere?

I googled Jon Carin and baby or birth and found nothing. It's well known that the DG blog is heavily moderated. It's one of the strengths of that blog.

You made the statement that Jon Carin recently had a baby. I would think if this were true, one could find some sort of mention of it somewhere on google.

So where was it that you heard this?

Just bought my platinum ticket for Roger In Auckland 29th Jan 2007, and have booked flights

This is my once in a lifetime Floyd experience!

Just for the record, the Ticketmaster website lists the band members, and it appears to be the same lineup as 2006. At any rate, Jon Carin is definitely on the list.
