Allman on Hammond sounds like a good idea.
Allman wouldn't work on tour, though. He wants to jam too much.

I actually wish that Waters would let his band cut loose and jam a little like they did in the old days, even as late as 1977's "Shine On" renditions. However, I don't think this is something that fits in with his current plans.

This is one of the great aspects of Gilmour's tour this year. The lack of the video sync requirements opens up the show for more extended playing.

That said, Roger's show seemed more of a Pink Floyd show than David's. The video is one of the key pieces in the PF experience.

Assuming this is the album and not the touring arrangement...

Guitar: Jeff Beck, Jay Stapley, and Andy Fairweather-Low

Drums: Andy Newmark, Steve Scales, David Kendrick

Piano: Jon Carin, Page McConnell

Hammond: Page McConnell

Creepy Old Synth: Bob Casale

Bass (composing help): Paul McCartney

Backing Vocals: Just double-track John Carin and Paul McCartney. I'm tired of the normal backup singer arrangements.

Engineering Crew: Whoever did Weird Al's "Straight Outta Lynwood", dear god that album sounds good

Orchestra Composing: George Martin (just give him some really loud headphones so he can tell what he's doing)

Cover Design: Put Storm Thorgeson, Paul McCartney, a few members of The Chopping Block, and Ted Jones in a locked room.

Production: Terry Brown and George Martin

Saxaphone: Former President Bill Clinton

At least he can talk politics with Roger. I think they're somewhat neighbors these days.

well here is my fantasy:

Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton and Andy Fairweather Low - Guitars

Geddy Lee - Additional Bass and NO vocals

Graham Broad, Nick Mason and Neil Peart - Drums

The usual vocal work of PP Arnold Katie Kissoon and Carol Kenyon

Jon Carin - Keyboards

Ronnie Lane's ARMS show and the Secret Policeman's Other Ball had them sharing the same stage and swapping guitar solos.

The Allman Brothers currently have two drummers and a percussionist.

One of the greatest live acts ever.
