that really is a wonderful performance. bowie sounds great there. he always was a big fan and admirer of syd, so i think perhaps he was channelling syd there on that tune. whatever it was the whole band sounds great. also nice to be able to see that rick is in the band...

Anybody knows were it was recorded from as at "26 sec "there is an overhead shot of a big stadium but then when a shot from behind the stage you can see the back of the hall :? :?

I know it's the Royal Albert Hall but were is the outdoor shot from?

There are no outdoor shots in this vid.The higher you get in the RAH,the more detached the stage looks.The first "long shot" looks kinda outdoors,BUT the second longshot shows a slow zoom through the pilars on the balastraids on the top floor.IMHO,totally Royal Albert Hall.

just looked again now seeing it all yes itis the Royal Albert Hall :oops: :oops: it didn't look that high on the 29th

I just watched again and didnt see any lights! There was one shot from the back right of the hall looking down onto the floor seating which was all lit. The surrounding seating was not lit but there was the occasional video phone etc. Perhaps this is what you mean?
