All the girls back then were Manson family girls?

The only reason the older posters are so bitter on this forum is because they never got in the Family... its the worst kept secret ever.

OMG ending the day with a great laugh. Classic. Yes at the young age of THREE I was dying to be a Manson girl.

Too funny about them having their Waters tickets.

If they hadn't been hanging with a sawed-off mental scurge maybe they could see Waters.

This was hysterical.

you mean Judy Trim? Have you noticed Roger Waters only goes for blondes? Judy Trim Roger Waters first wife passed away awhile ago.

The Manson girls like the same which is creep. Then again Charles Manson is the biggest creep ever.

Cool gig. "Student refectory" is known as Potterrow here. Latest band to come through and play a gig there I can think of was "Roll Deep", which looked like 8 gansgsta rappers. Apparently they sold 57 tickets for the Roll Deep gig. Apparently the Pink Floyd gig in 1971 also only sold a small number of tickets, suggesting the Edinburgh University Student Association couldn't promote a gig back then either. :?

The "Student Health Centre" is where I go when I get ill. \:D/ I've had many a course of antibiotics from there. Not sure where in the building this gig was held but my guess is under the big plexiglass 'dome' thing which has not only discoloured into a pukey brown colour bit is apparently a major fire hazard as it wound rain down in a burning mess if there was a fire under it.

This is what it looks like now:

So I imagine the bank was added in what might have been a stage area. In the Floyd photos its strange that there is dark curtains behind the band. But it seems adamant that the gig was in the "Student health centre" so that is where it must have been. My flatmate is a member of staff so perhaps I can go snooping with him at some point.

This is the opening from Copenhagen on 7.th of may 2011.

Great show - the largest wall on this tour, so far - about a hundred meter wide.
And although the gig was in "Parken" (renown for its bad-ass acoustics) the technicians made an excellent job, making this event my (almost) biggest concert ever.
Direct 7.1 surround-sound beat the living shit out off all of us...

Roger and the band (and crew) made my day - with Kilminster playing his balloons on the wall in Comf Numb!
In a way I'm glad that Dave didn't attend, 'cause I would've been unable to watch the rest of the show, had he been there on top, ha ha...

Glad for ya all in O2, that he and Nick came!

Love it, Meandthem. Wanted to get a pic of that opening, but I was too enthralled to pick up my camera!

Found this on T'interwebs. Possibly 1968, though late 1968 judging by the hair.

These two pics are not entirely dissimilar.
