One of the best things about pigs live was the guitar solo in the middle if you ask me, in comparason I think the studio one does get a little dull halfway though.

Maybe it is because the song was never properly recorded, but this is my fovorite live song. It encompasses everything about Pink Floyd at the time and I think it is the best song the band made to that point in the Post-Syd era.

Some bands are good either in the studio only or on the road only but Floyd managed to be great at both. I think to the average music fan, Pink Floyd is this band that was partly created in the studio but we all know that they were really a great jam band too!

Embryo from BBC sessions, and Pompeii version of Echoes IMHO it was a great idea to divide it in 2 parts
