Re: The FOOTBALL thread
I wish England were in the play offs then we'd get to see some more proper games. We're going to get beat by Spain in a freindly next.

I'll just say that the lazy-ass I-am-the-captain-of-Manchester-United-and-I-can-score-a-penalty-with-my-eyes-closed is not working.moom wrote:Serbia... I must give you credit, for a couple of times last night you did make me very nervous.
Serbia didn't deserve to go through, not just by game with Slovenia but by overall performance in the qualifiers. Congrats to Estonia.

Re: The FOOTBALL thread
Word of caution .... Rep of Ireland are NOT similar to Northern Ireland in terms of ability - dont be confused. Also bear in mind, we have conceded 1 goal in our last 9 games. Bring it on. Should be a good contest.moom wrote: YES - Ireland!
P.S. Please ignore our National Association's Chief Executive John "Donkey face" Delaney for visibly laughing when the draw was made. He's a fuckwit of a man, nobody respects him in football and everyone in this country thinks he's a disgrace. He is not representative of the average football fan in Ireland.

Re: The FOOTBALL thread
Rooney#s had his mandaotry one match ban extended to 3 matches. Not surprised really. That guy did bodycheck him but Rooney needs to learn lessons...he's got to keep that nastiness out of his game even when he is provoked. He should have learnt that lesson a long time ago and the fact he hasn't is down to his arrogance imo.

Henno, Wiped - folks, should we beat Ireland or not, we have already made our dreams come true Our efforts have been rewarded, spirits have strengthened, hopes risen.

you and millions of other ABUs Ray
hopefully thats the kick in the arse we need to get our midfield sorted out. Fergies been running on dry in about 4 midfield positionsn for the last 2 years, ever since our first drubbing by barca in the CL final.
Hopefully by mid jan we'll see at least 2 additions there.... possibly gaiden from benfica, and maybe even rodwell.
My personal choice would be to break the bank to get wilshire from le arse.
