I wish people would stop mentioning her. This thread is about news, not litter.

I just heard that! The judge apparently overruled the sheriff who freed her under house arrest. Yes, there is some justice at times....

Paris Hilton left prison cos she didn't like it.

WHAAAAT! ITS NOT A FUCKING HOLIDAY CAMP!

Just cos your Daddy is rich, and, well, you are Paris Hilton (how do we justify her celebrity) doesn't mean you are above the law.

Glad she's back inside.

It would be nice if we could all do things like that. The stupidest thing I've heard lately.

Paris is the unofficial patroness of this board :P

The Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper doesn't buy into celebrity culture. He's "too busy" to meet Bono.

Actually Paris left because apparantly she was really ill... Don't see what sort of illness can prevent someone from being in jail though. I laughed wholeheartedly when she got sent back :D

The poor thing was probably allergic to the cheap generic soap they use in the showers in prison. That'd make anyone ill.

I walked into a shop this morning and Paris' mug was weeping out at me from several newspapers which was kinda weird. Amazing how she's front page news despite her being nowt more than a talentless slapper named after a hotel. She's unlucky to be an American. If she was living in Britain, she'd have gotten away with it. Just look at how many times Pete Doherty has been arrested.

Ah but he hasn't actually failed a drugs test yet... Despite being a supposed junky.

He has however been found in pocession of illegal drugs, but having them and taking them are of course not the same thing

I'm a cynic and reckon there are a whole group of PR men who basically create Pete Doherty and make sure everything they get this character to do breaks as few laws as possible and at the same time further his image. Keep in mind that he gets arrested for things like 'suspision of stealing a car' or gets 'tested for drink driving' with the following article never bothering to follow up on the findings of the initial one, and when they do he just gets released on bail

All about staying in the public eye in my opinion

If he gets arrested for pocession the record company execs can afford the bail. It furthers his image, he seels more records because more people buy it. Personally i really don't think he injects the stuff as it has never shown up in his bloodstream yet

But then maybe i'm just a cynic

She's a construct, not a real person. It's a sad comment on the world that it works so well for her.
