Re: Worst Solo Album
There's a few clunkers on that list but I went for Nick's Fictitious Sports because it's not a Nick Mason album at all. I...erm "obtained" it once to have a listen and deleted it pretty sharpish.

Re: Worst Solo Album
I don't delete albums, but I do have a bottomless bag filled with music DVDs. Once an album gets out of my hard disc and onto one of those DVDs I'm sure I will never listen to it again, at least not at home.
"Fictitious Sports" did find a fast way to the bag, but "The Body" was faster.

Re: Worst Solo Album
IMHO another album should be added to the choices,"The Final Cut", which in essence was a Roger Waters solo project that just happened to be recorded by Pink Floyd. In name only though I believe.

Re: Worst Solo Album
Why don't we add "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" then as well?
I mean, that is a David Gilmour's solo album. Nick and Rick confess that they didn't play much on it, most of the stuff in there is recorded by the session musicians.

Re: Worst Solo Album
who the hell voted for 'amused to death'......
perhaps the best solo album from any floyd member, and actually better than some official floyd albums (see momentary lapse of reason for example)......

i really liked fictitious sports - okay technically it was a Carla Bley album though - pity its out of print.
someone had the bad taste to break in to my house and steal it - i miss that album

I really don't like Music from the Body. I'm guessing Waters' fans voted for the self titled Gilmour album which is not bad at all IMO.

Re: Worst Solo Album
I am a Waters' fan myself but I also voted "Music From The Body". Take a look at one of my previous posts for a reason why.

Re: Worst Solo Album
You'd want to be a seriously die-hard fan to listen to that all the way through. It was a toss-up between that and Fictitious Sports when I voted.

Re: Worst Solo Album
I listened to "Music From The Body" all the way through just the other day. No kidding! And that experience only made me absolutely sure that my decision to vote for it here was right.
