Children are incredibly good at remembering songs, which is why schools have long since adopted song as one of their primary teaching methods in earlier grades. I had one teacher in either first or second grade (I can't remember which) who taught the class the Witch Doctor song. I remember having great fun singing, "Ooh eee ooh ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang."

More than likely politically incorrect now. I still remember the lyrics to a song I used to sing in Prep (first year):

There lived in China a very old man,
and his name was chica racka ching chong chan
His legs were thin and his feet were small
and the poor little fella couldn't walk at all
chicka racka chin chan chi chacka roni
ali belly fat man all caught coney
itchi citchi caterpillar ika bi ika bi O - coco.

Don't think that would be part of the modern day school curiculum these days.
