No, this time don't tell people, this forum was flooded with single-post users for ages when you dropped that threat. Just kill them all off! Its not impossible to set up a 2nd email account and get a new username here if needs must.

That is against the forum rules! I think. I often check out IP addresses of posters to see if they have multiple accounts, especially if they are causing trouble!!

I was gone from the forum for three years ... had you done a 'post or be removed' exercise during my absence I might not have returned! Possibly not a bad thing from some people's perspective; but equally there might be others who you would welcome back who might otherwise be lost. How about a 'not current' status for non-posting members? Or an 'Active' status for those who post, say, more than 5 times a month?

I think it has been 12 months or so since the last one. Something like that. No recent culls! Having inactive users in the database with 0 posts jsut takes up unecessary server space. Although not that much to be an issue now as there is 1.5GB spare server space currently.
