Count me in. France is a wonderful country with wonderful wine and wonderful cheeses, but it's crawling with stinking French!

Re: Your Favourite Cheese
I like pepper brie best, yummmmm!
Oka and Camembert are good even though theyre the standard mild cheeses. Can`t stand the ones that taste mouldy, they ruin the bread, the wine or drink, not to mention the cheese itself! Cheese with fruit and nuts in is kinda cool; cranberry, apple, walnuts etc..
Anyone like the cheese that comes in strings (its aimed at kids) and youre supposed to make little characters out of the cheese then eat it; literally playing with your food! Beats the plain 'mild cheddar' that comes in a foot-long brick for 3$.

Re: Your Favourite Cheese
I love cheese, and try to sample different kinds wherever I go. There's this one kind I love, but I can't remember the name of it unfortunately. I used to get it at Alex Cheese Shops when I lived in Toronto, but it was made in Tuscany...a mild cheese cured with red wine...very delicious. I love English cheeses too. Wensleydale is probably my favourite. I like a nice Pepperjack cheese too, especially on my sandwiches!

Of course, one of the best things about liking cheese is that it gives one the oppoortunity to frequent cheese shops ...Massed Gadgets wrote:I love cheese, and try to sample different kinds wherever I go. Limburg is a region in the Netherlands, but I've never heard of Limburger cheese... But apparently Monty Python did...Syd'sSexy wrote:...Well, except Limburger and some of the very strong hard cheeses...
I like most cheeses. But the Dutch are called 'cheeseheads'... so I guess I just have to like cheese.
I've tried Haloumi, probably didn't treat it propperly, it was nice, but not very strong in taste.

Stilton is the stuff. Best cheese for me. I also like a very strong cheddar cheese and a nice bit of Red Leicester goes down well.
I can't stand mild cheese of any kind. It's not worth eating.
Cheese from frog land is ok if I'm desperate.
The worst cheese I've tried is that bloody dutch crap with the red wax, its just like eating plastic. Keith can we have a bigger vomiting smiley for this shit.

oldhippy: you aren't supposed to eat the red wax!
Is that Edam or Gouda? I cannot remember. Rosm will have to enlighten us. It is a rather bland cheese, but nothing of the vomit caliber of that nasty maggot shite!
