Getting this back on topic...
Keith Jordan wrote:Roger's history of Pink Floyd would be a good read I think!! As would an unedited-by-waters version of Nick's book!!
It was David Gilmour who tossed a fit about Nicks book and forced him to change it.
This - I think - led to the less then good relationship they have... they NEVER appear together since then and even in pictures Nick is never near David, Rick was always between them.

The band wont release anymore unreleased music so they will now suck our money with books.

I am really losing interest in the band and while I like the music they made, I dont think I really like them as people - I feel they could care less about the fans, and that sucks.
Sad, but true.

Of course, none of us really knows what went on with the first edition of Inside Out but I think you're right. It might explain why Nick didn't perform WYWH with David and Rick when Pink Floyd got inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. We'll see new stuff come on the market when everyone's kicked the bucket and their kids want to make some money.

I agree ever since then, Nick has not appeared with Gilmour much at all, and when he has, his body language tells alot.
I do remember Gilmour had threated court action against him over the book claiming it would hurt his ability to make money and his image as an artist...
I think the first version was a true tell all and what we ended up getting was far from it.
has anyone seen a picture of the 2 (Gilmour and Mason) together side by side since the book was released? I havent that I can think of.
Mason also backed Waters wants for Live 8 and went against what Gilmour wanted... add that to the fact Mason has performed alot more with Waters then the token performance with Gilmour (that was not even released on DVD)

I really see David as the odd man out now that Rick has died and with that said, I dont think Gilmour would allow any unreleased material... even after his death.

Now I am a big Gilmour fan and it sucks to say this, but I really think Gilmour is the one keeping us from the live goodies in Masons vault.

David Gilmour, Guy Pratt and Nick Mason attended the Q Awards together on October 6, 2008. So much for not appearing together. Gettyimages.com and Rexfeatures.com have pictures of this event (group foto on Rex).

Snifferdog was talking about their get together in 1996, not 2008. Besides Guy Pratt isn't really a Pink Floyd member.
