David must love being a Dad. I wonder if he sang them to sleep when they were little.

Now he doesn't need to sing them to sleep, he can just play "On An Island" CD for them. That would put an elephant to sleep.

I don't like "On An Island" as a whole but, I enjoy several of the tracks on it and listen to them often.
You are being kind of hard on him I think, you are entitled to your opinion though.

Besides, I think he would sing a more trandional lullaby to his children, the ones who are young enough that is.

I was just kidding. I do like a couple of songs from "On An Island", even though I find the album as a whole just one big lullaby.

That's what some would say about Pink Floyd.
It's a great mellow album, and his best solo effort to date.
Better then anything Roger ever did.

If you read "Lucky" in Polly's book : Lying in Bed, and some interviews about the writing of the lyrics, she has the last words... I bet he often says yes.
By the way, I don't think they are calling everybody to say : hey come on, we'll be there tonight...

But who knows, maybe Polly likes to be seen...Not wanting to be mean. She's famous now.
