You can only vote once per IP address. Else I would have voted several hundred times if things weren't going as good as they are! \:D/

Unless something goes terribly wrong, we will be up against the Chili Peppers forum on the 10th in the quarter finals! They seem like a friendly bunch. I went over to their forum and introduced myself...

Yay. NPF Forum wins in round one!!

We got 83% of the vote, the highest in the competition so far!

Attached is the updated fixtures list. Shall we strategically vote for the weaker competitor in James Vs The Kooks as we play the winner from that competition in the next round!! Some research should be done as to numbers, popularity and playlists!!

Good work, Keith!

I would have thought that NPF has the easier half of the draw here - I would fancy beating either James or the Kooks should we get past RHCP. Unfortunately, both the Coldplay and Muse fanboards are pretty huge, and fans of these bands will have loads of listeners to Absolute. Looking at the past results, the best chance is probably getting to a final against the Strokes.
Maybe?

I think we will beat RHCP but may get knocked out in the Semi finals! I wouldnt mind if we got to the semi finals. That would be good. To have won our first round match is good. I am well pelased! I think we will do well. Those other boards have good historical numbers, but I have a newsletter with 26,000 people on it to direct to the Absolute Radio website. That may have something to do with us winning with 83% of the vote, the highest in the competition so far!!

I am quite hopeful and positive about the next round, and hopeful about the semi final too! 8)

We all just have to make sure we vote Pink Floyd through!!

In Coldplay Vs Muse, Coldplay won! I dont think the Muse forum was taking is too seriously. That is good news then!

I just voted for the Strokes in the latest match.

Haha, the people on the Muse board were complaining about their obvious double votes being cancelled. They were actually hiding their IP addresses! Stupid people.
