Why are you being so unpleasant about this - this page has a James fan congratulating you and you are going on about some unproven cheating. I go on two James fan forums and the facebook group and have seen nothing encouraging us to cheat - wouldn't know how anyway. I shall vote for Floyd because they're the better band.

If they won when the voting closed, then we won after they had removed the naughty votes, that is evidence that they cheated. Simple as that.

I imagine out of everyone on the James forum, 5% of them probably concentrated their efforts to cheat from 6pm onwards. It was very clear what they were doing and Absolute Radio will not stand for it!

Cheating doesn't work so don't bother is the message.

The other 95% of the people on the James forum are ace. They are a good bunch, as I had said already!

My view is that, rather than cheating, we were always going to find people who would vote against us just because many folk have anti-Floyd feelings. I don't think that James (even though I like the band) would bring that kind of response out in people.

Well, well done there.

What happened was that a number of us, determined to get James some radio exposure, that the fickle music press, Absolute Radio included, obsessed with celebrity and pretty boys, went out of our way to get everyone we know to vote for James. Pink Floyd don't need the exposure, they're one of the biggest bands in the world.

It's quite sad that all those efforts have been wasted by someone going running crying to the radio station that they didn't like the fact that James fans were going out of their way to support their band and getting people to vote. That isn't cheating, it's dedication to a cause.

But thanks very much. At least we have two nights of fantastic music to look forward to in Manchester whilst you lot sit at home crying in your beers as we all go off and vote for Green Day.

It is nice to see the James fans showing off their integrity (or lack thereof, in so many cases). I particularly liked the accusation that Keith is a paedophile, simply because they lost. Is that bitter? I thought I detected bitterness in that post. A shame.

I can't see your point here, that's what the idea of the competition is all about surely and you wouldn't lose votes because of that.
