The advertising for the vinyl version mentioned a 'download card' that was to be supplied with it so you could get that extra track :?

If you like the sort of stuff that The Orb do, you'll get on fine with the CD. The 3D60 mix is the business. If you like "proper" songs though you'll be sorely disappointed.

The material is fun. I like it. That being said, Whoa! The 360 version is really good through a surround decoder (think DPIIx) into a multi-channel system. To me it just sounded like a lot of panning through the head phones though. If you have a 5.1 (or more.1) setup give it a try...very rewarding!
Cheers!

I haven't listened to it since the week it came out...but, if I ever find I can't sleep, I will be sure to throw this album on or On an Island. :-;

I was looking through my "ceedees" yesterday and totally forgot about this "album". I may give it a spin.

Anybody listen to this much or, at all, since it was released. Any first time listeners? Thoughts?

I felt like Metallic Spheres was a little hard done by. Not everyone's cup of tea? For sure. But it is an interesting listen, and that record helped me bridge over into listening to The Orb, so it did that for me too.
Fun fact: my uncle actually knows Kris Weston, who performed with The Orb and wrote tracks on their albums from '91 to '94.
