In the interest of keeping this thread more meaningful, can we get over the unofficial announcement that an unofficial source is going to make an unofficial announcement about a rumour in April?

Are there any other rumours out there that people are reporting?

A very popular DJ on a Philadelphia radio station said months ago that Roger Waters would be playing in Philly in April. Now I hear the rumor is the tour announcement in April. I really have my hopes up but I agree that we should not believe a thing until a real announcement is made. I know there were auditions mentioned earlier in the thread any word on that? I hope that John Carin, P.P Arnold, Harry Waters and the rest of the crew will be in if the tour does happen. What do you think?

The suggestion of a Roger Waters tour is by definition an ugly rumour.

It is all rumour out there on the Internet. All this website has reported is what Roger#s management have said to me. That there are no concrete plans yet but that he is looking at touring towards the end of 2010 and 2011.

I have noticed one or two usually decent websites out there on the inter-web making stuff up. I don't think that is in the best interest of Roger Waters fans. Just to go and raise their hopes with "details" when none have been announced. Madness!

It was Pierre Robert, on WMMR. I knew when he said that Roger would be in Philly in April it couldn't be true. The worst part is that he made it sound like he had some inside information. I did a lot of yelling at the radio that day. The constant rumors surrounding Pink Floyd drive me insane. Once the tour is announced now all the rumors about David Gilmour and Nick Mason joining the tour will start, which is 50-75% ridiculous.
