raisemyrent, wait until you have the physical copy...you asked for thoughts. I am in the same situation - get bluray combo, but might go for an early evaluation copy. 8-[

Well I think we all know that I know that's the right answer. I just fool myself somehow by asking something will change. So unfair! Haha but still grateful that the album is coming out at all

Reality comes crashing in like shadows into the night:

http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-enter ... 40601.html

But what's blindingly clear is that, without the sparking creativity of a Syd or Roger, all that's left is ghastly faux-psychedelic dinner-party muzak.

One star.

Out of 18 ratings on Rate Your Music, a 2.19 rating.

It seems, so far, that there's the album as it actually is, and the fantasy-veiled album die hard Floyd fans want the album to be.

do you think that if I can somehow cry while at the record store later today, they will give me a copy from the back storage room? I could shake my hands too

Again a brutally honest review.
When music is mediocre, it's mediocre..

2 people who hang fire until they find a negative review, then fly in with their glee proclaiming it honest, like the others weren't?

You haven't heard it yet, so belt up. Pink Floyd fans, yeah right.

I pride myself in being impartial And unable to fool myself ;in fact it's part of my day job), but all I know is the division bell was panned by 'critics' and its the album that hold the floor my default at my house and car. I noticed that I lsten to it a lot more than anything else, and by anything else, I mean its live version from pulse. So I'll hold my judgment until the time comes. I'm happier than a clam already; I realised I had NEVER listened to anything on repeat so much at all in my life.
