Wow! You got me jealous [-D-] I've got a feeling you're in for something really special. This isn't just part of the gig circuit. David is gonna be making something of a statement at Pompeii, and I think the track listing will be very different. I look forward to your review.

I passed on this after working out the cost. Would have cost me well over £1000 for 1 night inc ticket, hotel, flights, spending money etc.
The Mrs would have ripped my balls off if I had went <ii>

Going to see him twice in Chicago in 2 weeks time and London in September. So that'll do me :-({|=

I'll be in Pompeii as well...sadly it will be a few days ahead of you and as a tourist versus a concert goer. Lol. Will visit Pompeii on the 1st and catch the concert in Rome on the 2nd. I would have loved Pompeii but scheduling a trip for a family of 4 around a concert is hard to do. My initial idea was to alone but I'd sure hate for the rest of the family to miss out on the experience. Either way...just happy we came up with 5 days to visit Rome & see the concert....

A guy called at our local radio station and claimed that they would play Echoes even tho David said he wouldn't anymore after Rick passed and that Nick Mason would be there...

Probably wishful thinking especially since Nick is musically out of shape... I am pretty certain he is gonna play something from live at Pompeii tho.

No way he won't play nothing from Pompeii, echoes might be a stretch though. Would it really work without Rick?

Also if it's filmed for DVD do they want 20 minute showpiece being the same as the last concert? Only time will tell!

It would be a crime to be there and not play a single song from the film tho. If it's not Echoes I will go for One of These Days.

He'll definitely do something.

One of these days is the safest shout. Would kill for Saucerful of secrets but again I don't think he'd go there without Rick

Have two tix for July 7th Pompeii that I can no longer use...coming from the states and can't make the journey now. Selling for face and the box office has granted permission for a name change-- now just to find someone who can use them! Please spread the word--thanks!
