Mahavishnu Orchestra also produced some eargasmic records. Inner Mounting Flame and Birds Of Fire. That's incredible stuff.

Do you have Devotion? Now that's a great stuff. Marbles, Purpose Of When and the title track are great.

Genesis:

Did I mention The Cinema Show keyboard solo by Tony Banks? And also literally all Steve Hackett solos in The Lamb live (from the Archive box set), amazing tone.

The Dance On A Volcano/Los Endos is a also a damn good eargasm. Surprising how much post-Gabriel, pre-...ATTWT stuff is jazz-rock and fusion-like. Another great example of this is the "...of that quiet Earth" bit on Wind And Wuthering.

Mad Man's Moon - probably the best Tony Banks song. Wonderful lyrics and haunting melody. It wasn't recorded live!!

I think I saw this thread for the first time...
Few recent eargasms:
Trampled Inder Foot and Kashmir - Led Zep
Cinema Show and Supper's Ready - Genesis
Aqualung and Thick As A Brick Pt.1 - Jethro Tull
Atom Heart Mother and SOYCD - Pink Floyd

From "With The Guards of Magog..." til the end it's awesome. My eyes get wet (maybe few tears) at the end, when Gabriel screams: "Jerusaleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem!!!!"

My fave eargasm will be reaching my head in about 5 nims time! It is no other than Kate Bushs ''Hello Earth'' and the eargasm comes when she sings ''all you fishermen'' and the drums come in, top that!!

(I have a sneaky feeling many posters havent read this thread properly)

Radiohead - OK Computer = one big eargasm. Must be in the right mood though, but the whole album is brilliant.

I can't explain why, but seeing C J Sleaze (sometimes with the STD's - her band) live gives me eargasms...only live! In fact live music can really send me over the edge of the daily routine of the dull old status quo, and a little lubrication doesn't hurt.

Ravi Shankar!
