Just finished the Sirens of the Titan(or what it's called again) :)

Now I have to finish some Kafka stuff I have at home and Ibsen's Nora, and after that it's Cankar time. It's the most praised Slovenian writer, but, uh... It vibrates, errr... negativity?

Vonnegut's the man. Currently I'm reading "The Joke" by Milan Kundera.

Just finished Dylan's Chronicles Vol. 1, and I like him even more than I already did. Good book.

If I'm totally honest, it's because I fell in love with a woman who had recently become a Christian when I met her. She told me about what her life had been like before converting and told me of the differences it's made in her life so far.

Noticing that my life had begun changing of it's own accord, I thought I'd see what there is to this Christianity thing.

So...I'm reading the Bible...and so far, everything I've been reading (I'm starting with the New Testament,) is something I've been trying to apply to my life all throughout.

Kind of interesting, really.

that's really great, moses pa. I've been studying the Word from the original languages via a couple of teachers off and on since the early '80's, and the truth's in there. Enjoy your new friend, too! :)

Thanks, I AM enjoying her. (Get your minds out of the gutter, folks...I really dig her friendship.)

BTW...I hope I don't come off like an arse here...but it's not "moses pa," (unless, of course you were doing that with a wink as it's a Biblical reference that just isn't penetrating my thick skull,) it's "mosespa," like the town where Qui-Gon Jinn discovers Anakin Skywalker.

I Wondered about that: mosespa. Yes it was a half-arsed tongue-in-cheek thing. I'm afraid I didn't get the star wars reference.... I actually walked out of star wars in '76. But it wasn't so much the movie hit me wrong, although it did seem off; I just wanted to get down with my date a little more than the movie theater allowed.

And that's the truth, too.
