Re: Doctor Who
Please don't let it happen. Lily Allen cannot become the next Doctor's companion.

Bill Nighy is still the best choice for the Doctor.

Re: Doctor Who
But he played the best zombie ever. He would be supreme. A Hartnell for the new generation.

Re: Doctor Who
ARGH!! honestly, if theyre gonna take our Dr away from us, they could at least let us have a proper series before 2010! Either way, the more David Tennant, the better. I am eagerly awaiting the easter special or whatever holiday they plan to have a show for in the nearest future; i hope they come up with something really outrageous and original and that they kill off DT in a tasteful and interesting way. Also hoping they find him a proper companion for the next 3 specials considering he spends all his time being all like, "im all alone and sad" and emo, poor doctor! He cant regenerate alone! (as it were)

Such a shame Ian Richardson's pushing up the daisies I do hope they go older next time. Well..they probably will because at the rate they're going, the next doc would be an embryooz1701 wrote:it would have been nice if they had got someone older for a change

Re: Doctor Who
Don't expect a Doctor older than 45 or so any time in the foreseeable future. The production team have already said that they don't want an older Doctor because the amount of action scenes and the intensity of the workload is completely different with the new format, and the likes of Hartnell and Pertwee would not have been able to handle it. Whether or not they are right is a matter of debate, and I'm sure there are some older people who are active enough to be able to handle it, but that is irrelevant, because they are not going to be changing their opinion any time soon.

Re: Doctor Who
"House of Cards"...very prophetic!
Re: Doctor Who
by President Clark on June 30th, 2008, 7:58 pm
As I was watching I was taken along by the excitement, but had the impression that if I stopped to think about it, the plot would fall like a house of cards. When the Doctor and Rose were running towards each other in slow motion, part of my brain was saying "Get on with it", but another part was saying "Look out!" .....

Spooky, eh?
