Re: Doctor Who
I thought that last nights episode, "Blink" about the Weeping Angels was by far the best of the new series and, I dont mind admitting, just a little bit scary

Re: Doctor Who
Yes, it was definitely the best so far, and it is further evidence that Steven Moffat should become the new head writer!

Re: Doctor Who
Is this Torchwood spinoff business a new thing everywhere? Its coming here in the fall, but i was wondering if anyone has seen it (in the uk, maybe?) and can tell us a bit about it.

Re: Doctor Who
It was on last year here and I thought that it was very good. It's basically Captain Jack and a group of companions fighting aliens that managed to get through the rift it Cardiff, under the alias of Torchwood. It has some vague Doctor Who references and some slightly more obvious ones.orange floyd wrote:Is this Torchwood spinoff business a new thing everywhere? Yes, the word was originally conceived by Russell T. Davies to put on the tapes when they were being transferred so that nobody would steal them thinking that they are Doctor Who!

Re: Doctor Who
There is a rather revealing synopsis for the second last episode which confirms the return of a certain old nemesis of The Doctor at this site!

Re: Doctor Who
I thought it was spectacular! It was without a doubt my favourite episode of Doctor Who since it has been brought back. I cannot wait for the next two parts.
I think that John Simm will be great as The Master.

Re: Doctor Who
I agree, in fact I was even thinking of him in terms of a future Doctor although I guess that wouldnt work so well now.

Re: Doctor Who
They should get Philip Glenister to play The Doctor when Tennant leaves and portray him in the sleazy style of Gene Hunt!
