Brian Adams makes me want to die. What a bum.
i just get generally aggravated by all the newer, poppy "punk" -rock outfits for 10-year-old girls that all sound the same: plain and unoriginal. I'm guessing there has to be like a farm for the singers, cause, somehow, they ALL sound EXACTLY the same, practically to the point of suspicion, really. No offense to them, really, but i think they should leave more room for, cough, more musically inclined people.
That and whoever wrote Whiter Shade of Pale should be hung by the thumbs and shot.

Slayer
I'm not into Slayer myself but I do listen to other metal bands like Carcass and Fear Factory. You have to admire them for at least the fact that they do their own thing. Too many groups/artists get controlled and become slaves to the label. Carcass was one of the originators of grindcore along with Napalm Death. Napalm Death were much more of a joke however. Carcass actually evolved as it went on. As it is with all good things, an end must come and Carcass broke up because of direction problems.

... and Bill Steer went back to his roots and formed Firebird - a bloody good band in the "70's Stoner Heavy Rock / Bluesy" mould.jokitter wrote: Carcass broke up because of direction problems.

I was sitting out the front of my house on Saturday, smoking a blunt, reading a book and listening to some sounds when lo and behold my neighbour decided to do the same.
Unfortunately he chose to put on one of those fooking Ministry of Sound Mix type albums.
Good god! What fooking rubbish!
Now don't get me wrong. I enjoy a bit of dance music myself but more along the lines of Orbital or Aphex Twin.
Those albums should be banned!!

In fairness to my good lady wife she does do most of her listening in the car and tolerates my music at times so I don't mind putting up with James Blunt for a 15 minute drive.azza200 wrote:oh dear godkagee wrote: Yes indeed!
