It would seem that a few of you are having a few computer security problems. Hackers can easily gain access to your computer if you are not protected properly. I recommend that everybody takes the following action.
1. Download "the cleaner" to remove any "Trojan Horse" programmes from your computer that allow hackers on the internet to access your computer, monitor the keys you press on your keyboard and access personal information. 30 day free trial available from below.

2. If you have anti virus software like Norton, trend micro Pc-Cillin etc. then make sure it is switched on and it is updated with the current virus pattern list. You can get a free up-to-date scan at trend micros site. A VERY good idea.
Click on scan without registering on the page below

3. It is very easy for programmes that spy on you, your computer and what you do with your computer when you are browsing the internet. gator and commet cursor are such programmes. These are know as spy bots, spuware etc. You can remove these for free with a great piece of software called SpyBot. You can get that from below. This software is free and has had great reviews!!

Make sure you all do these to protect your computer system and personal/private information from people and companies that are spying on you and what you are doing.
4. A further point is firewalls. A firewall basically controls who can access your computer. A computer is like a building with many doors or ports as they are known. If you leave these "doors" open, then hackers can walk straight into your personal computer. You should close these doors with "firewall" software. Have a look in your computers help in the start menu for more info or download this industry leading piece of software below for personal use only.

I use both Spybot and Adaware 6 for spyware as they each find spyware the other does not. Adaware6 is available for free at http://www.lavasoft.com

I use:
AVG 6 Free edition http://www.grisoft.com
Zone Alarm Firewall http://www.zonelabs.com
Both good and FREE.
I must stress that whatever Virus killer you use - Keep it up to date (there's no point in using a 6 month old update when a brand new virus spreads the world in a matter of hours)
I'm not scare-mongering, I was caught out by the klez virus last year using a month old update. I contracted this using Kazaa peer to peer software.
Another cause of worry are the virus hoaxes. Usually these are passed on by well meaning friends. I generally ignore them but if I suspect them to be legitimate, I check out http://www.symantec.com to confirm before taking further action.
