This is the only copy I've ever seen of this...
Amazon Link
The Trance Remixes are a pain in the ass to find original copies of as it is (especially since no one seems to sell them on eBay anymore)... but a VINYL VERSION?!
EDITED BY ADMIN - The link you posted was very long hence I had to write the text Amazon Link, highlight it, press the URL button, then put an = sign after theURL text, then paste the link into ther. That makes a text link!
Rarest PF bootleg ever?!

It looks like it was recently pressed though, so probably more are on the way. On the back it says "Syd - Wish You Were Here" (with a happy face emoticon) making it sound like it was made after Syd passed away, and it says "new copy" on the listing. The back says it was mixed by The Orb too...the CDs didn't say that did they? I remember it was supposed to be a big mystery who was making the CDs. The vinyl may just be a bootleg made from a CD....

The Beatles did "Hot as Sun" ?!! Interesting!TheLazenby wrote:Yeah.... I thought the same thing about the "Syd" note.
Well damn, if people can get records pressed like that thing, I wanna make the world's only vinyl copy of the Beatles' "Hot As Sun"!! (No, seriously, I wanna do this - anyone know where I could get 2 LP's pressed??)

Yeah, "Hot As Sun" was this imaginary 2-LP Beatles album that Rolling Stone did an article about... it was supposedly the 'missing link' between the Let It Be sessions and Abbey Road. It was all total garbage, of course.
But it actually is possible to put the album together. I even made four fake Apple labels for it I snagged the front cover from a bootleg (a really shitty attempt by a Japanese bootlegger to reconstruct the album), and I'm working on a back cover. I'd love to find this guy and get one copy of each disc, as well as the cover (if possible) pressed for myself.

The rarest would be the box of tapes that Syd apparently gave to someone sometime in the 70s, probably not in existence by now.mosespa wrote:The rarest Pink Floyd bootleg ever is the version of "What's The New Mary Jane" with Syd accompanying The Beatles.
It's so rare that it doesn't even exist...because it never happened.

Edit : never mind, thought you were talking about pressing the trance remixes on vinyl, but then I read the whole topic again and realized you were talking about the Beatles.TheLazenby wrote:UPDATE!
I found a custom presser that'll do it, except it's pretty expensive... the whole package (both records, four labels, plus a printed cover) is about 400 bucks. Could be worse - another custom presser would've been clear over 600 WITHOUT a cover.
Anyone know of a cheaper presser?
