Hi everyone! New member here from SE Asia. No signs of any PF following in my country (that I know of) so I guess this is the closest I'll ever get to sharing my love for the band!

Re: New Members Say Hello Thread!!
Well hello world!
I am new to this forum, so I thought I might post here. I am an Australian living in Canada, and turning 18 this summer. I have loved Pink Floyd since the ninth grade, much to the frustration of those I regale with trivia on a daily basis.
In terms of other music taste, I am widely varied in that nature. For example, I can go from Floyd to Green Day to Mumford and Sons to Radiohead to Gorillaz... you get the idea. Don't like pop though. Mostly either electronica or 70's prog.
Anyway, that should suffice.

Re: New Members Say Hello Thread!!
Hi all,
I'm a Belgian Pink Floyd fan. I'm 33 years old.
I distinctly remember rummaging through my dad's old LP's and being intrigued by one which had a cow on it's cover. When I put it on the record player, I heard motorcycles rumbling, a horse's hoofs, a choir, a brass sections, a lone cello and soaring slide guitars. What in the name of ... was this music??!!
The rest, as they say, was history...

Gee, I haven't been on this site for years and decided to visit, but unfortunately, it seems to be very inactive. It used to be so much fun! How disappointing.

Welcome back! Forums around have seen a decrease in use. But I feel this place is still active enough.Syd'sSexy wrote:Gee, I haven't been on this site for years and decided to visit, but unfortunately, it seems to be very inactive. It used to be so much fun! How disappointing.

Nice to see that 'spinning' avatar again. It does seem much quieter here than back in the day, but it is still active. Hopefully you'll stick around!Syd'sSexy wrote:Gee, I haven't been on this site for years and decided to visit, but unfortunately, it seems to be very inactive. It used to be so much fun!
