I've got tickets for DAY ONE, plus the hotel and flights have been booked for months. The hotel booking was at a fantastic rate and cannot be cancelled or changed, the flight is with Lufthansa and I can re-book without penalty. I guess I'll still do a weekend in Milan and then have to do it all again once revised dates are issued.Keith Jordan wrote:The event has been postponed due to production delays. Re: The Pink Floyd Exhibition - Their Mortal Remains
Just back from a weekend in Milan; I had booked, as noted above, the Day One package but since the flight was £49 I thought so what even if the main event in postponed I'll have a weekend in Milan and visit the new Leonardo da Vinci exhibition and EXPO 2015.
The 'Mortal Remains' location is good and getting around Milan is easy (€1.50 for a Metro ticket to take you miles). The metro and buses are a little disjointed but that's half the fun and you can easily walk around the place. My budget hotel was a little out of town but a direct walk towards the city led me to a McLaren showroom (three of the cars on display). Here you make a left and after a few minutes the exhibition WILL be on your left.
There is nowt to see at the moment, just a poster apologising for the delay and one lady security guard.
Just waiting for revised dates and I'll repeat the visit although I suspect the flights will not be such a good offer.

News via e-mail today -
A bit of a surprise that the location may be moved ...Dear Customer,
as previously announced by the event promoters, "The Pink Floyd Exhibition - Their Mortal Remains " opening had to be postponed due to production delays.
Building the complex exhibition to the required specification has made it possible only some months later than the scheduled dates.
Unfortunately the new dates of the exhibition have not been fixed yet, they will be communicated as soon as possible.
We would like to remind you that existing tickets remain valid for the new dates (still to be determined) either in Milan or in other locations to be announced.

Has the exhibition in LA finished now? Is that where it was last?
