Should NOT be allowed on this board. I suggest creating a new rule:

Plagiarism is not tolerated. If you commit plagiarism on here, you will be banned.

I agree with you Will, but let's see what everybody else in our community thinks! I just got of the phone from Noel Gallegher anyway! Nice!

A straight ban is extreme, lt's go through the consequences first.

I think plagiarism (direct verbatim quoting that is not credited) should not be allowed. Same with hot-linking (unless it is the person's own site, obviously).

I agree, but I don't think just banning the person instantly should be the result. They should get a warning, and a chance to put credit before they are banned just like that.

I agree plagiarism should not be allowed.

I move that all text that is posted be credited to the author who wrote it (if that is the case) as to not leave the impression that it was written by the poster him/herself.

Do I hear a second............( actually Keith should doing this as he's the head of the board)

I think that a warning is best, also. To many, the internet is a wild and untamed place -this forum is bound to be perceived similarly by some. A warning or 'shot across the bow' will alert members that this forum is actually moderated and not the wild wild west.

I think a weeks ban will give them the message!!
