hmmm, tough one. Well I have to pay for internet connection and a computer to download the Gilmour ROIOs, but I paid for that a long time ago. Then at some point during listening to them, I'll probably want something to drink. So roughly $1.50.

About a 30 minute drive to NYC. Stay in a hotel for a couple of days, and try to stalk Mr. Gilmour. Got a replica black stratocaster that is just waiting for a certain autograph on the black pick guard.

Well, it was about a 2 hour drive, $5 in gas, and $15 for the ticket...so 20 bucks....but that was Gilmour live in 1984....how times change...*sigh*

Can't afford it this time. :(

I'm going from Atlanta to NYC for the first show. (Also going to a Daily Show taping while I'm there!) Concert ticket: $170, airfare: $250 or so, hotel for two nights: $650. It's expensive seeing one's idol....

b.king, if you find out any stalking information, could you pass it along?

Heading from Cork to Paris, going to both shows, then in May, heading to London for the 3 shows, will cost quite a bit after everything taken into consideration.
Also, it's 4 years exactly today since I last saw David Gilmour in concert, his last of the 3 shows he did in the Royal Festival Hall.
After attending the 3 of them plus the Meltdown show added to the forthcoming shows I'll attend, it will be 9 times for me seeing David in concert.

Dayton, Ohio, USA over to Chicago is 3 states, about 325 miles, and 6.5 hours. $145 on the ticket. We get to visit my wifes childhood best friend for free. But I am sure I will spend a lot on stuff at the show!
