http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/8973/image013od2.jpg (Near the venue, caught in traffic: there was some kind of processing center right nearby, which I caught a picture of)

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/473/image008ct9.jpg (The edge of the traffic... it continued on like that for around three miles)

http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/2047/image014ze1.jpg (The edge of the parking lot, which must've been two kilometers between me and the stage)

http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/1520/image012ag7.jpg

http://img470.imageshack.us/img470/2909/image016wz6.jpg (Closer to the end of the show; my lawn position was at the edge of the grass, as close as I could get; a kilometer of people were behind me; this was near the end of the show)

http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/2004/image017ax1.jpg (Pre-show)

http://img383.imageshack.us/img383/5625/image021hg4.jpg (The Pig was clearly remote-controlled, doing laps around the area to give everyone a clear view of it's messages; the election date was correct this time)

http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/5586/image023gg6.jpg (The pig suddenly stops moving and flies into the void; apparently they're throwing away a perfectly good remote-control swine every day)

http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/3082/image022bm9.jpg (after the show)

http://img380.imageshack.us/img380/5448/image024rp7.jpg (After Eclipse ended, everyone started waving lighters, glow-sticks, and cell phones; this is only a small bit of the result. Roger commented on what a "beautiful sight" it was.)

http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/7316/image025ll9.jpg (I got this amazing shot during Us And Them, purposely manuvering behind two standing-up people; once the bootleg of this show surfaces, this deserves to be the artwork)

The pig was not remote controlled. There was a guy pulling it.

Oh. I saw a guy pulling it onto the stage, but I assumed he let go; it was flying with nothing holding onto the point where all of the lines met. (Maybe it was a very discrete tether, and he was running through the crowd turning it around and then dashing out of the structure and letting go outside.)

I'd love to be the roadie whose job it is to herd giant flying pigs. Although I don't see how it could be safe to let one of those things into the sky pointed right at Dulles Airport.

The guy who pulled it on stage pulled it around the pavillion. I was at the back of section 101 and so he was spitting distance away at one point. I couldn't see what happened outside the pavillion.

That has got to be the greatest job ever.

I ran into someone who was at the show whilst at an italian restaurant today; he said he saw someone sporting a large taping system. (He likely got the show, since security was just non-existant; just a few guys scanning tickets and not even looking at you.)

I can't wait until the bootleg surfaces.

I got some unbelieveably good pictures of the band onstage and such, and I have maybe a half hour of video, all told. Who wants to see the pics?

Got Plenty more where those came from, plus, of course, the Videos. I hope other people took video or at least audio. I think everybody should be on the lookout for such other bootlegs of this concert. If I can get enough material, I can make a great DVD of the damn thing, so I'll be waiting....

Nemesis11f, did you get any pictures of that sea of lit-up objects in the crowd? I think it would've looked far better from your angle (and flash camera) than what I got. Also, there's a chance I might be able to identify myself in the crowd.

I tried, but it kept blurring REALLY badly. I hold out hope that someone else out there did, as that would be a great back cover for the RoIO.

I just have a minute to post so I can't get into much detail right now but that show was awesome. I was dead center first row of the third level in the pavilion and I couldn't have asked for better seats. Nobody in front of me blocking my view.
I'll post more of my thoughts later but some of the highlights for me were Perfect Sense, Sheep, Us and them, ABITW (surprisingly), Brain Damage, Eclipse and of course wywh.
Lowlight for me was LB. But I went and used the bathroom so it's prob not completely fair for me to judge.
Overall such a good time...... Some people I went with have photos I'm trying to get. The pig was litterally right above us at one point because we were in the first row so we have some good pics of it I hope. (fingers crossed) What a great time, and a great end of the summer. Glad to hear you guys enjoyed it too.
Anybody get any good merchandise ?
I got the prism t-shirt w/ the tour stops on the back and a program.

Rogers gotta love that
the guy who once told off the police narks harrassing his audience in that 75 LA boot
and turned that experience into the rockstar-turned-fascist trip in The Wall
now gets to taunt the Repugnicans in his audience into throwing coniptions and getting their asses throwed out in the street by security

did the Republican expect roger to stop the song and apologise "oops im sorry I didnt realise thered be a Republican in the audience Ill play another song if youd prefer sir sorry again"
instead he chose to make himself into one of the puppets in rogers multimedia experience

btw that radio opening reminds me: in Berlin, for an hour before the show began, the PA was playing vintage big band/swing music, to set the mood for all the WWII imagery
Roger and his radios, thats another old gag going back to the early days
