Just to let anyone interested now, I have suspended the deadline(s) for both projects currently underway (Double Core redux and it's follow-up) so that people presently involved can complete their submissions without feeling rushed...and also to give others just now finding out about these projects an opportunity to join in.
I'll let everyone know when the new deadline is...just as soon as I decide it myself.

Re: Deadline Suspension
That would have made a good Floydian name for the album on reflection.

Re: Deadline Suspension
Since the new one doesn't have a title yet, I'll take that under advisement.

Re: Deadline Suspension
I've had a couple of days full of inspiration, and decided to focus on a two piece set entitled "Traffic" and "Traffic Jam", the latter really being a jam.

Re: Deadline Suspension
I'm having problems with my recording gear...my computer just doesn't seem to recognize my recording interface at all...I have another interface, but unfortunately the company that made it decided not to create drivers for it that were compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit. So, I'm going to have to solve this problem before I can record anything. It's extremely annoying.

MG--sorry to hear that. But at least now, you can take your time and solve the problem.
Hudini--can't wait to hear it.

Re: Deadline Suspension
The "redux" of Double Core is underway.
But...there is a completely new project also in the works. It's the one where we're taking incorrect song titles from ROIOs and turning them into proper songs of their own.
Hey boss, I seem to recall that you've got some musical talent...why don't you contribute something?

Re: Deadline Suspension
I will have a think about it.
If you want to put a "press release" together and start a thread setting out the framework of the project, I shall include it in the next newsletter for you. Just to clarify... it is original material like Double Core right? The new project?

Re: Deadline Suspension
Yes, it is to be all original material.
The balding cuckolds can't stop us from doing that.
I'll play around with a press release at home tonight, boss. I might have something for you by tomorrow.
But then...I think you're still waiting for my articles celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of The Wall, aren't you?

Just bumping this back up to remind people that these tribute projects are still going concerns.
Also just checking to see how everyone else is coming along with their bits?

Re: Deadline Suspension
I'll just send my latest track Silent Moves, because my current bits went all wrong, and I'm so nervous about it I can't be arsed redoing. I wanted to submit SM to somewhere anyway. I just need to fix the drums in the end.
