Stoned Alone

Post by Gabri2001 »

Hi everybody, I found about an early pf song, stoned alone, but the only thing I found is the 1967 bootleg recorded in Copenhagen. Does anybody know where I can found a recording of the single song?

I don't think they ever did record it, and they definitely never released it.
I wish they did though. I guess we have to stick to the bootlegs.

According to https://pinkfloydhyperbase.dk/unreleased/ , Stoned Alone is an early version of Let's Roll Another One, and later, Candy And A Current Bun.

Speaking of, I just caught Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets for their very last performance of the entire tour last night.

They play " Let's Roll Another One" (reverting back to the original lyrics) rather than "Candy and a Currant Bun". It is also extended, with great keyboard solo, and even more stuff inside [-D-]

Oooh, lucky. I wish I could have been there to see that, but alas, I'm in Australia. I count myself lucky to have been able to see Roger Waters (in 2018) when he came to Australia, considering I'm 15, haha.
