Pink Floyd TV appearances soundtrack but not adverts thread

Post by Jimi Dean Barrett »

We don't seem to have a Pink Floyd TV appearances/soundtrack but not adverts" thread.
So to start it off. "Goodbye Blue Sky" was used in the second part after ad breaks of the recent Rick and Morty episode; "A Rick In King Mortur's Mort".
The Wall version, not a re-recording.

Uk programme Heartbeat (a light hearted police drama based in Yorkshire and set in the 60's and early 70's) are always playing snippets of pink floyd from that era

There is a Family Guy episode - for my money, arguably the best episode of Family Guy they’ve ever done, but not necessarily for the inclusion of PF music - which features Comfortably Numb. It’s called ‘Into Harmony’s Way’, which is in Season 12, Episode 7. I can honestly say it had me crying with laughter.

The Martin Scorsese film The Departed also features Roger Water’s Live in Berlin version of Comfortably numb I think, although I haven’t actually seen it.

I’m sure I’ll think of more…
