Gonzo, if that Love Beach-avatar of yours stays there for more than a week or so, I'm leaving this board, seriously.

I remember listening to "ABitW pt2" over and over as a child. But a serious fan for something like 15 years. Wow...

I remember in junior highschool (was about 15, ungdomsskolen in Norway) me an a friend of mine had the responsibility for playing music in the schoolyard, and we played One Slip (wich I think is still kind of cool). Kind of wierd reaction in the schoolyard.. Some really loved it, other hated it...
Guess that was a year or two after I become a fan..
Been fan for 13 years or so... almost half my life!! Darn, I'm getting old..

Sometime in the late sixties I heard Flaming. It was all perfect timing... Mom had recently bought a <STEREO> HiFi, the kind that was one unit with a fold-down turntable, my older brother had just bought Piper, and I was getting interested in store-bought music (not just radio).

That's when I became a fan.

I became a Floyd freak (or Floydian as some say) a while later but that's a different story.

Congrats Libbywaters74D. You get a candy and a currant bun

I remember getting hooked when "See Emily Play" came out - and have been ever since - 36 years!
