...have a top thirty Floyd songs list here at NPF?
Top ten is always 'guessable' and as Gaia gifted me with loads and loads of time in the past few weeks I thought I'd come up with a list of top thirty.
From the 30th position song upwards and along the way you can comment on the song, like should it go up or not et cetera.
What do you think?
Based on this poll I'll start posting the songs one by one. Each song name will be posted after a day to give you time for comments
What is the point of trying to create a top 20 (30) of Floyd tracks?
Surely the unique properties of Floyd is that best songs change from day to day, depending on your mood.
So why pigeon hole particular songs apart from Poles Apart There you go, you see? That?s my particular favourite song at the moment (or is it comfortably numb?)
Great idea, but why shouldn't we do this with all their songs? Every day a new song to exchange thoughts and views... sounds cool to me.
Or would that be to complicated?

I'd like to volunteer for that, as long as it doesn't take to much of my time. When this means I will be counting votes all day long, I think I will have problem. I'm still trying to get my masters degree, you know
And probably you should know: I'm not too funky with computers

I think it's a good idea but I don't think a forum thread could handle the task of tallying votes. You'd have to list all the Floyd songs including ROIO's. Or have interested members list their top 20 (al leaet) and then have someone keep track of what's been chosen. "Because I have a lot of time " Ridan?

Any ideas on how it could be done?
What I have in mind is I'll chose a number of songs from their officially released albums and then I'll make up a list of the top thirty. I have another member in mind that I'll bug i.e. Meddler. Ganaffe offered so I guess I now I have a team.
BUT this still isn't final. Ideas are welcome
