Just assume that each song includes all live versions played. I mean, there are A LOT of alternate studio tracks as well, so if you include pulse, ummagumma, etc. etc., you'd most likely have to include the alternate zabreskie point sessions also, and probably more. It's just easier to say "this song represents all other versions of the song."

Hey Ridan & everybody else :D

I think I answered most of your questions by PM.
One other thing: maybe it would be OK to post a message here with the rules of the game... (where to post your toplist, how many songs it should contain etc.). Since you're the moderator here I think that's a nice task for you
Since I'm your humble serf I will help you with counting the votes.

I think that would make it very confusing. Therefore, here's the good news. After this one is done, and I hope it's a success, I'll start one on the live versions of Pink Floyd :D

At the moment let's concentrate at the list I posted. It's been checked and re-checked. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you stick to it :)

Were "Scream Thy Last Scream" and "Vegetable Man" officially released?
If so, to the list with them.

Hope it hasn't been mentioned already.

I think if the song is original and not a live diverivitive then it should be added. But no known solo songs released or not.

Heros Return Part 2 from the Not Now John single isnt on the list, as far as I can tell thats the only officially released track record wise not on the list. Its hard to know exactly how extensive the list should be, another thing to consider is the La Carrera Panamericana tracks are also officially released, albeit on video, which of course also brings up the track commonly known as Pompeii at the beginning of the Live at Pompeii release. Technically these tracks are officially released, and of course there is a european release of the More film on video which also means that in its way Seabirds has been officially released, aaargh its never ending!!!! Mind you I dont think anyone would vote for these tracks anyway.

@jebcdex: no they havent unfortunately, at least not yet anyway.

When it comes to official releases: they were only released as solo tracks by Syd. There are some of those 'outtakes' RoIO's which contain studio versions of the songs by Pink Floyd. And on very early live RoIO's (from 1967, I think) the songs are played live by Pink Floyd.

As far as I know there are no official studio releases of the songs under the name Pink Floyd.

Sorry but there are no official releases of them by Syd solo, I dont think there are any solo recordings of these by Syd. Theres the Top Gear versions and the studio recordings in various states, some with the Laughing Gnome style overdub, some without, each have surfaced in either stereo or mono.
