I found this out from Roger Waters online

Today (14th November) Roger performed with Pink Floyd at the funeral of Steve O'Rourke. This is the first time since the last Wall concert in 1981 the four members have performed together. They played 2 songs together Fat Old Sun and Great Gig in the Sky. The funeral held at Chichester Cathedral, England was a fitting goodbye to a man some called Mr. Pink Floyd.

maybe theirs hope

They have that news on Brain Damage too. Is it real or has everybody gone nuts?

I'm glad they were able to put aside any differences for this fitting tribute.

it's was also posted to echoes - "The band played two numbers during the service - Fat Old Sun then The Great Gig in the Sky. Dick Parry played saxophone whilst following the coffin."
(possibly by the same person who passed the news on to Brain Damage).

- saw your post on the offical board Libby 8) -I'd really like this to be true [-o< - hope we get something official soon either way.

OMG! My sympathies go out to Steve O'Rourkes family but I really cant help thinking this is the most amazing to happen ever! Its just a shame it couldnt have been under different circumstances. The next few months could prove very interesting.

Reports of Roger's presence have been greatly exaggerated.

Pink Floyd did play at O'Rourke's funeral, that is, Pink Floyd in their post- 1987 incarnation.

That's the latest report I've read, anyway.
